Funny thing here is this, you mention your rights..and then you mention the Japanese Americans during WWII. So, my inference is that you feel that your rights are more important than those folks rights were based soley on the fact that they were of Japanese descent and we were fighting Japan. And that, in a nutshell, is what has been the downfall of the GOP...most of them and those who support them seem to think that the rights of others end where they think their own begin....and that just isn't the case. I don't care if a person is green, if they are amrican they have the same rights you do.

I think what they did to the Japanese was horrible. There were probably more Italians and Germans in the US than Japanese, but because they were "anglo-saxon" in appearance, they were pretty much left alone. The point I was making is that desperate times sometimes call for desperate measures. Right or wrong, Roosevelt did what he thought best, as did GWB.

I believe you're thinking of filibuster but the Libs filibuster their whole life no matter what every time they open their mouth it's like a big filibuster grocery store, doctor office, in the senate and house, at the dinner table it's always a big lecture/ filibuster
